Dr. Janet Riebe

Plover and Stevens Point, WI Veterinarian – Woodhaven Animal Health

Education: Undergraduate studies at UW-Milwaukee & UW-Madison; Graduate of UW-Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine

Career: Since graduation from Veterinary School, Dr. Riebe has worked at practices in Green Bay and Plover

Dr. Janet Riebe has always had a love of animals since she was young. Her mother recalls as a child that Janet would always want to care for any sick or injured animal in their neighborhood. This innate compassion for animals, coupled with her interest in biology and general science, led her to a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Riebe started her career in Green Bay in 1992. She relocated to central Wisconsin in 1994, working as a small animal veterinarian for Corriente Animal Hospital. Dr. Riebe established her own practice in 1999, starting the clinic in her home. In 2001, the clinic was relocated to the current facility in Plover.

Dr. Riebe enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, especially surgery. She enjoys the clientele as well as the staff. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, road and mountain biking, hiking, kayaking & SUP, Green Bay Packer football, and catering to her critters.

She is the proud “parent” of Otis, a Labrador Retriever mix, and Addie & Syndey, Labrador Retrievers. She also has Marley, a miniature horse, Magic, a Paint horse, and a goat, Hansel.
