The state-of-the-art in-house laboratory at Woodhaven Animal Health allows us to detect problems and begin treatment on your pet much faster.
Our clinic has access to a wide variety of laboratory testing options, including some testing that can be done in the clinic. These tests include but are not limited to; chemistry profile, complete blood cell count, urinalysis, cultures, heartworm testing, tick disease testing, thyroid testing, skin impression and skin scraping, ear cytology and fine-needle aspirates, and cytology of mass’. Depending on the needs of your pet, our doctors will determine the best course of action. We highly recommend pre–anesthetic blood screening for any surgical patient to help us determine any additional risk factors for anesthesia.
